Hi! I’m a experienced traveller and find it hard to find information if you dont speak the local language. That’s why i wrote all these useful resources for you from the perspective as a local Chinese and a traveler.

Map App

Even if you already have VPN, it’s still better to use local Map Apps instead of Google Map. I have to admit that I love Google map when you travel around the world and you can get so much information from it. However, that’s not the case in China! Google Map is completelt outdated in China because of domestic data protection policy in China. The only exception is Apple Map but the data that related to China are stored in server in China.

Here are there most used Map Apps in Chian:

1. Apple Map

   First for most, the Apple Map! You can use it without VPN and in your local language. But if you are an adventurer, go for the local apps.
